Dr. Lininger is a native of Raymore, Missouri. She attended St. Teresa’s High School where she was an active member of the STA drill team. She later obtained her bachelor of science in Biology from the University of Missouri. During her time at Mizzou she worked under a fundus photographer at the Mason Eye Institute at University hospital.
After Mizzou, Dr Lininger went on to attend Nova Southeastern College of Optometry where she obtained her Bachelors in Vision Science in 2007 and her Doctorate of Optometry in 2010. During her last year of Optometry, she completed rotations specializing in ocular disease, pediatrics, contact lens, and primary care. She also completed an advanced care rotation in the area of Diabetes and ARMD. She is trained in the use of and interpretation of OCT, GDX, HVF, HRT, Octopus, and ultrasound.
Since finishing her education, Dr. Lininger worked for another doctor for six months before starting her own practice. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her 3-year-old son Jack and 1 year old daughter Ella.
